Unicorn Changes Lives

"Moving my twins to The Unicorn School was the best move we made. They were not coping and falling behind their peers in an alarming way - it was as distressing for us as it was for them. Covid didn't help.

Since starting at The Unicorn in Year 4, they have come on in leaps and bounds - they are now happy, confident little boys who enjoy school and love learning. The team around them has been incredible, and the support and encouragement they give us as a family has been, and continues to be, outstanding. It makes me feel a bit teary just thinking about it.

In a nutshell, The Unicorn School and their wonderful teachers change lives daily and for that alone I wholeheartedly recommend it with every ounce of my being."

"My son has been at The Unicorn for the last 5 months. Before he started he was extremely anxious and constantly
worried and his sleep was massively affected. He also had a lot of OCD tendencies and needed constant reassurance and
support with his worries. Since he started The Unicorn, I have seen the biggest, most positive change in him. The
first term was tricky for him, involving a lot of emotional outbursts and constant reassurance. However, since he
returned after the Christmas holiday, he has been a completely different boy. His anxiety is nowhere near what it
was. He's sleeping through the night and I can't remember the last time he said he's worried about school. In himself, I
have seen this burst of confidence (that I've never seen in him before) and he is genuinely happy in himself. He can't
wait to get into school and every day he tells me 3 good things about his day. He is more smiley, chatty and just
content in himself.

Home life is so much calmer, I haven't noticed any OCD behaviour since the middle of January and bedtime is a whole
new experience (a very positive one!). I honestly can't even put into words how amazing this feeling is.
The staff at The Unicorn are just incredible, nothing is too much trouble and they really do focus on the child's
individual needs. This has been life-changing for my son (and me) and I will forever be grateful for everything they
have done and continue to do for him. So THANK YOU for changing his little world!"
