Sue Piper

Sue has a background in psychology, mainstream and special needs teaching, along with education and residential care experience; with over 25 years spent in the field of autism. She joined her current school, Prior’s Court over 20 years ago and has worked in many different roles. She has been the head for 12 years and as Director of Education oversees the learning and therapeutic services for 5-25 year olds at the school. She continues to train others in her capacity as an Advanced Consultant TEACCH Trainer and was instrumental in developing the specialist approach which underpins the autism best practice at Prior’s Court. Sue works with a variety of schools, focusing on School Improvement work and has spoken at international conferences in America, India and China.

Sue is married with 2 children and 3 dogs! She really enjoys walking, swimming and relaxing when there is a quiet moment.
