Year 11 Leavers’ assembly

Last Thursday, we said goodbye to our Year 11 students in a celebration filled with pride, laughter, and a few tears. While some will return in September to join our first ever Year 12, we took the opportunity to reflect on their achievements and wish them well for the future.

As the students received awards, they also took the chance to hand out some brilliantly observed (and very funny) awards for staff.

As Mrs Woodworth Sturla said in her speech:

“As you leave us, remember this: exams may measure knowledge, but they don’t measure kindness, courage or character — and those are the things that truly shape the future. The world doesn’t need perfection. It needs people who are curious, compassionate and determined to make a difference. I hope you go out and become those people.”

Wishing all our Year 11s the very best in whatever comes next.
