Transforming Lives Together
In 2024, we secured a second site directly opposite our current school. This new site will allow us to double our capacity, accommodating an additional 220 students each year. It will also enable us to offer a post-16 life-skills provision for the first time.
Our phased approach means that construction will continue during out-of-term periods until June 2026, with the goal of reaching full capacity by September 2027.

In the last few weeks the team have been working on installing both electrical and data cables. These will be used for the installation of the power and lighting and the installation of the data infastructure.

In the last couple of weeks we’ve seen the walls go up in the site. Suddenly we can see our classrooms really start to come to life!

Demolition and strip-down of Ock House have now been completed, and work has begun on the necessary structural alterations. This involves installing timber columns and steel beams to convert the building from hotel bedrooms to classrooms.
Initial enabling works in Ock House (formerly The Premier Inn) are complete and timber structures are now in place to form the structure of the ground floor.
