Join Steve’s epic challenge
One of our fantastic parents, Steve Carr, is undertaking an epic fundraising challenge this summer to raise funds for the school. His challenge will see him undertake three ultra marathons, a skydive, cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, and Mountaineering in the Himalayas!
On Sunday, the 23rd of June, Steve will be lacing up his running shoes and undertaking his fourth challenge – a lap marathon on his farm near Newbury. On the day, Steve will run 17 laps of his 1.5 mile track and would like to invite friends of the Unicorn school, as well as other runners to join him for as many laps as they choose.
Event Details:
- Date: 23rd June
- Time: Steve will start running at 9am. If anyone would like to join him for a “lap or two” he would advise arriving between 12pm and 1pm to coincide with him reaching the end of his run
- Location: Steve’s farm near Newbury
How you can take part:
- Whether you’re an experienced runner or just love the great outdoors, you’re invited to join Steve for the final few laps or as many as you’d like.
- Donation: To be part of this exciting event, we kindly ask participants to contribute a £10 donation towards Steve’s fundraising challenge.
Refreshments and Celebration:
- During the run, Steve will provide drinks and snacks
- At the end of the run, Steve plans to serve up burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks to anyone who would like to join us for a post-run celebration.
