Oak Pupils Perform "Street Child"
This afternoon Oak Class gave a marvellous performance of part of Berlie Doherty's book "Street Child". The story follows Jim Jarvis, an orphan living in the streets of Victorian London.
Dressed in Victorian costume our Oak pupils gave a moving performance that brought to life the plight of Victorian street children, many of such difficulties being shared by homeless young people today.
Congratulations to our Oak pupils for such great acting!
