Beech Class had a wonderful outing to Canterbury on Monday, 6^th November. The coach journey may have been long, but it was well worth it as we got the chance to explore Canterbury Cathedral and enhance our learning of the life and death of Thomas Becket. This was followed up with a visit to hear The Canterbury Tales told by Chaucer’s pilgrims themselves. The class also got to view the remains of ancient Canterbury Castle. It was a fun and educational day for us all!
