Nicki spoke to years 2-8 about her newly published books ‘The Last Chance Hotel’ and ‘The Bad Luck Lighthouse’. These quirky stories involving mysterious magic and cunning detectives set the children’s imagination alight, whilst also exploring how we can discover our own talents and find our place in the world. The children loved the idea of solving a mystery and even began to share their own ideas for spooky stories. With her passion to encourage children to learn to love reading books, Nicki both intrigued and inspired our young authors here at The Unicorn School with her wonderful tales. We’d like to thank Nicki for taking the time to visit our school and creating such a fun afternoon for our children.
