CEDAR ABBEY VISIT

As part of their topic work on ‘ A Local Study of Abingdon ’ Cedar Class have been studying maps of Abingdon, writing directions, going on local walks, looking at land use and visiting the remains of the Abbey buildings.
We were lucky enough to have a ‘monk’ to guide us. Tim, our guide, was from the Friends of Abingdon and he also came in to school and gave us a really interesting talk about the history of the Abbey.
We are so lucky to be situated in such a beautiful, historic town.
