'This year we will be learning so many exciting things.  Our topics this year include the Romans, the Vikings and the Rainforest.  Our Geography, History, Art and ICT studies will be linked to these topics. 

In English we will be developing reading and comprehension skills through studying a range of fiction, non-fiction and poetry texts.  We will be paying particular attention to the use of verbs with different tenses, sentence building and writing in different styles.

In Maths we will learn number bonds to 10 and 100; we will learn to solve additions and subtractions; to compare and order 2 and 3 digit numbers; and to count in 2s, 5s and 10s.

In Science we will be exploring Bones and Muscles, Light and Shadow, Rocks and Fossils, Magnets and Plants. 

In RE we will be learning about Hinduism and Judaism and looking at specific Christian celebrations.

These are just a few of the exciting things we will be learning this year.
