Ash Year 4
Welcome to Ash
In Ash Class our topics this year include prehistoric Britain from Stone Age to Iron Age, the Ancient Greeks and Modern Greece. Our English, Art, History and Geography studies will be linked to these topics.
In maths we will learn to know and understand the calendar, and to tell the time. We will study written column addition; solve word problems learn to choose correct operations; and to Identify, name and draw horizontal, vertical, perpendicular, parallel and diagonal lines. change
In art we will make stencils of prehistoric animals to crete "cave art paintings", we will create moving monsters based on Greek mythological creatures and we will create 3D models pots and sculptures in clay.
These are just a few of the exciting things we will be learning this year.
