Three Peaks Challenge

To raise funds for the school, three members of staff, a past pupil and a governor climbed the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales over the Whitsun Bank Holiday Weekend at the end of May.

Mr Day, the Head, was accompanied by Ms Chappelle and Mrs Lowe from school whilst former pupil Luke Strivens and his father Andrew Strivens also joined them as they climbed these peaks.

We raised enough money to build an extra outside building to be used as a Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Hub which provides a dedicated space for our Emotional Learning Support Assistant (ELSA).  It also provides a quiet space for those children who need it as well as giving us the opportunity to offer more activities such as Play Therapy and Art Therapy.
